Our faculty hosted the panel titled “ÜNİDES: Sustainable Food Systems Panel – Production and Consumption of the Future,” supported by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Youth and Sports. The panel took place on December 11, 2025, with morning and afternoon sessions, and featured a number of distinguished speakers.
During the morning session:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Tacer Caba, a faculty member of the Department of Food Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, delivered a presentation on food sustainability.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Torun, a faculty member of the Department of Food Engineering at Akdeniz University, shared his valuable experience on sustainability technologies and quality management.

Prof. Dr. Hamide Gübbük, a faculty member of the Department of Horticulture at Akdeniz University, shared her valuable experience on sustainability in agriculture.
