As of the first two years of the undergraduate program, engineering orientation and basic engineering skills are gained. In the next two academic years, food engineering courses, laboratory applications of the courses, as well as elective courses aiming to increase personal development and equipment are taught. While it is aimed to provide students with both theoretical and practical dominance in the field with the compulsory field courses, it is aimed that the compulsory technical elective field courses will enable them to turn to those they are interested in and want to work in a wide spectrum of fields.
In addition, our program also includes compulsory courses in areas such as Engineering Ethics, Occupational Health and Safety, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, which are focused on some humanities and social sciences and are expected to be equipped with today's engineers.
Students who successfully complete our four-year undergraduate program are entitled to receive a food engineering undergraduate diploma and the title of Food Engineer.
